I.               Summary of the position:

The Social Media Content Creator will implement BRAVE’s Social Media Strategy, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic, and encouraging participation in ministry events. This role coordinates with support team members to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a social media referral network. Additionally, the Social Media Content Creator maintains all of the organization’s content across all digital platforms, keeping it consistent, and ensuring that all platforms are up-to-date and relevant. This individual must apply creative, analytical, and organizational skills to identify and evaluate content problems and develop strong solutions.

II.             Experience and Knowledge Required:

·      Skilled in photography & videography

·      Experience & expertise in organizing, planning, and execution of successful social media campaigns

·      Demonstrated success in growing social media presence on multiple platforms resulting in greater followers and audience engagement

·      Clear verbal and written communication

·      Understanding of social media KPIs; ability to assist with tracking and interpreting metrics to enhance user engagement, and suggest content optimization

·      Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. Skills in After Effects is a plus.

·      Strong writing, organizational, project management, and time management skills

·      Must be self-motivated and able to effectively collaborate with teams; building relationships across multiple departments

·      Projects a professional image, able to handle a fast-paced environment

·      Detail oriented, creative, ability to learn new software applications

·      Willingness to work after hours or on weekends when needed

III.            Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

·      Create and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, followers, and congregation

·      Plan & develop a social media content calendar for relevant platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok, Truth, LinkedIn)

·      Ability to create graphics and motion graphic assets to maximize views and engagements

·      Capture photos and videos for social media, our website, and our internal library. Organize and tag photos/videos in a library for easy access.

·      Leverage measurement tools to provide weekly progress reports and mine insights, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives

·      Ability to create content targeting various audiences and strategize new ways to engage with them

·      Partner with BRAVE Academy staff to help reach existing and prospective families/students

·      Ensure all online efforts and messaging are consistent with BRAVE’s values, overall story, and voice for each target audience

·      Ability to assist teams with tasks/projects outside of social media and content creation (one-team mentality)

·      Other duties as assigned
